I would actually like to give this restaurant a 4.5 star rating. I have tried about 20 Chinese American restaurants within a 20 mile radius of Happy Garden over the years, but to no avail. I kept getting ill on Chinese American food and had decided to give up when I came across Happy Garden. Happy Garden not only makes the best tasting Chinese American food I have ever had, but the taste is also consistently excellent. I believe that this has to do with the vegetable oil they use. The 100% pure vegetable oil sign is proudly displayed as you enter Happy Garden restaurant.

The .5 star rating I give Happy Garden is that unless you are a regular nights / weekends customer or you address the Happy Garden employees first, you will likely be "passed over." Since I am not shy, this does not bother me as much as other customers (my husband being one of them). What they lack in customer skills, they make up in the quality and taste of their food.
