The Oxford Fire and EMS Department provides fire and emergency medical services to more than 13,500 residents living in an area of over 25 square miles. It is comprised of nearly 50 full-time and on-call firefighters and emergency medical service providers. The department houses engines, brush trucks, towers, trucks, rescue vans and ambulances, as well as maintains incident command and paramedic response units. The Oxford Fire and EMS Department provides firearms and oil burner permit applications. It supports Explorer Post and ride-along programs. The department conducts various training programs in fire prevention and rescue operations. The Oxford Fire and EMS Department is located in Oxford, Mass.
