We were assigned to this contractor by Keiser Homes. The helped design our home how we wanted it, however they never were all that helpful with room dimensions. Our contract for the construction of our home was an 8-wk contract. It took 19+ weeks to complete. Owner of Modsource, Shain, took $14,000 and ran when the home was nearly completed. He did not pay his subcontractors, which they informed us this was not the first job he's done this on AFTER he left. He submitted false lein waivers to our bank. During the construction process, he hired random sheetrock guys out of the NEWSPAPER CLASSIFIEDS to do our sheetrock work, which was completed messed up and had to be redone. He reported his tools as "stolen" from our garage, and wanted us to claim this on our homeowner's insurance. Several hours later he admitted he had taken them. His rating is in the negatives; Surely he will be going to jail.
