My doctor put in a request for prior authorization for MRI with Rolling Hills. Rolling Hills calls a few hours later and makes an appointment for 7 am next day but u need to be there by 630am check in. Get to the appointment and find out that they never got an authorization on the MRI and I would have to pay for it. The girl was very Unapologetic and said it wasn't their responsibility. Why would u call a patience make an appointment and not have the authorization from the insurance. Primary md office said they would put in authorization and Rollins OAKS Will Call YOU When It Is APPROVED To make appt. When they called to make the appointment no one reiterated that it was not approved yet and that it would be 1500.00 . Just a heads up for those who were going there make sure it's covered on the phone when they call you for the appointment. Waking up early to find out this information was upsetting. Attitude of the girl at the office didn't help matters.
