I would not recommend ordering or purchasing a red velved cake from this place, they should stick to selling pasteries only. I place my order for a red velvet cake size 9 inch to serve 20 people cost was 55.95 paid in advance, to be picked up on the morning of mothers day. Upon making the first serving slice I saw a pinkish purple cake, so I tasted the cake which was more of a butter cream cake with cream cheese filling. This is not what I paid for. When I called to express my concern and disappoint I got an answer machine and up to this day no response from Yankee Doodle Staff. I guess they figured they got my money why bother. I would strongly discourage ordering a cake from them. If they would have called to make up the error they made or even to apologize I would have let this issue go but nothing from them. JPech

They make the best banana nut cake with custard filling in all of Ventura County. They are very expensive but they are well worth it.
