Pea River Electric Cooperative is a distribution electric utility serving consumers in three southeast Alabama counties: Barbour, Dale and Henry. Based in Ozark, Ala., the cooperative offers a wide selection of electric barbecue grills and smokers. It installs high pressure sodium (HPS) outdoor lighting. Pea River Electric Cooperative is a member of the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives. The cooperative has more than 3,000 miles of electric distribution lines in Alabama. Additionally, it performs energy audit for its members.
