This is a public announcement for all CB&T account holders. CB&T (Synovous
Financial) has announced that they are in financial trouble laying off over
1150 employees and closing more than 39 branches. Press release can be found
in the Columbus News WTVM. FDIC seized several banks. Don't get
caught in a situation where you lose money when the Feds seize Sysnovous
financial and you have to fight the government to get your money back.
Remember Synovous took about 1 billion dollars of tax payers money in 2008
and now they can't pay it back. When they go under to get rid of the debt
you could be caught in the middle.
Then to top it off - They turned around and gave manageres a pay raise and stock bonus. Totally economically irresponsible. Boycot all Synovus Financial institutions.
