don't go here unless you have A LOT of time to kill. seriously, you better have AT LEAST two hours if you're thinking of eating here, and that's if they're not busy. really really terrible service. if i could rate this place in negative stars, i would.

Awfully bad. Iguana Roja and staff appear to hate being in the restaurant business. No passion, class, or professionalism whatsoever. They act as if they are doing YOU a favor by serving you.

Summary:

- Unprofessional wait staff in their demeanor and appearance; tattooed and face piercings

- Service is horrible

- Terrible rock music

- Bland or over seasoned food, sloppy presentation

- Menu for kids sucks

- They automatically add 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more, even if 4 of the six are kids; THIS IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS!!!

- Extremely overpriced; the service nor the food justify the menu prices

- Decent nachos is about the only positive here

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!

I really liked the food a lot. Was it worth $52 for 2 people F no! My friend bought a round for the table and his meal...his bill was $85 dollars. Why would anyone spend that when 2 people can go to solito lindo, get drinks and dinner for $30? The service was some of the worst I've had in a very long time. Don't expect to get your drinks refilled or plates cleared! New or not, that's bs.

Great meal. The nachos are fantastic, great seasoning and combination of cheese. The two desserts we tried were the Pineapple Rum Cake, and the "Funky Flan", which is flan made with goat cheese. Both were awesome, especially the flan, very creamy. Best Mexican restaurant in the Ozark/Springfield/Nixa area.

Never go eat there, it's horrible, plain old white rice bland no taste. The black beans tasted like they had vinegar poured over them. very nasty taste. We had fajitas, the meat was tough again no taste or flavor, the chips had a seasoning on them, not a true mexican chip, The salsa tasted like it was days old out of a jar. don't waste your money going here, this is NOT authentic Mexican food. This business don't deserve a star, but, since I have to give 1 it will be 1 star i I could minus a star I would
