Founded in 1913, Baptist Home is one of the oldest nursing homes in the United States. The organization is a member of the Baptist General Convention of Missouri, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Missouri, Missouri Baptist foundation and Baptist World Alliance. It offers retirement communities, assisted living, nursing care, senior health services, education resources, training and development opportunities for local congregations, organizations, individuals and families. Baptist Home s facilities include medical center, centralized nursing station, independent living apartments, large dining and activities area and a conference and training center. The organization has branches in Ironton, Chillicothe and Ozark, Mo. Additionally, it provides educational, financial, health and consulting, expanded resident care, chaplain ministries, wellness centers, home health care and parish nursing programs training.
