I have been going to Hilites for a couple of years now at the recommendation of a friend. I have been having my hair cut by Anya and she is well worth my 1 1/2 hr. drive!

Ask for Anya. Very willing to help you "have it your way."

I found this salon to be unprofessional, unclean and unaccountable. The "cut and color" their stylist "administered" was worse than sub par. I don't recommend.

I walked in with gorgeous, healthy, dark brown and auburn loose curls, all one length and four inches from my waist. I asked this stylist to cover an inch of gray regrowth and trim 1/8 inch off the ends. First, she streaked my hair with what a world-renowned later called "black Sharpie marker." Then she literally hacked up my hair! She started at the right side and after she'd finished, knowing she'd destroyed it, she put it up in bobby pins! I went home crying. I've since been to three hair specialists, who observed the damage. My hair will take five years to regrow. I called to complain and their "owner" threatened me. I checked online and I found out that this establishment had been operating without a license since March of that year! If you love your hair, don't go here.
