We will begin Aikido for law enforcement class's on the last Thursday of the month- free of charge to police and correctional officers or active military. We will also offer Women's self defense on the last Monday of the month- free of charge. Both of these class's are part of our community service program as a way of giving back to the community.

This school is dedicated to the continuation of teaching the art of Aikido. We want to keep alive the spirit of the founder Morihei Ueshiba- known as O'sensei. We work hard to teach the martial arts in a way that isn't a sport but a way of self defense. We want our students to be able to protect themselves if the need arises.

If success is a mat full of students, I am the most miserable of failures. If my teaching saves one life- may I never taste success!

Services/Products
For hundreds of years a martial art school had one single purpose- teaching self defense. In 1884 Judo added colored belts and competition and soon students focused solely on winning trophies or what color belt was around their waste. The majority of schools today continue with the focus on rank or competition to keep the mat full and in doing so neglect the one thing a martial art school is all about- self defense.
