I went in for my skin check and found out that I had Sqamous cell carcinoma on my ear. It was really stressful finding out I had cancer but Dr. Tidwell and his staff really helped to ease my fears. The procedure to remove the cancer didn't take long and I was able to have my wife with me during the procedure holding my hand. It was uncomfortable for a few days afterwards but not as bad as I thought. Dr. Tidwell called me that evening to check in on me. I was resting on the couch but my wife spoke to him and felt reassured being able to ask some questions about how to take care of me. That was 8 months ago and now you can barely tell where it was removed. He was the most caring and skillful surgeon. I wanted to write him a review in appreciation.

My husband, Thomas, had Moh's surgery by Dr. James Tidwell at Paducah Dermatology. Dr. Tidwell is a very personable doctor and highly experienced. He diagnosed my husband's basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas right away and did biopsies. Then he did the Moh's surgery on each one. He himself called the night after the surgery to see how Thomas was doing. He and his staff are very caring and compassionate. We would highly recommend Paducah Dermatology and Dr. Tidwell to anyone that needs a consultation for their dermatologic issues. Linda L.
