Don't live here! I just moved out because Mary Sue Brooks, the landlord is so mean and greedy. She doesn't give ANYONE deposits back, she withholds $57 out of everyone's deposit for carpet cleaning (even though that's an expense she should be responsible for to upkeep the apartments), she charges $2.50 if you have a burned out light (per light), $10.00 to replace air filters, she upgrades her "1970's" style ceiling fans and charges you for it, charges you $50 "extra cleaning" fee if you don't dust of the top of the door frames, or can't remove hard water stains from your toilet (even after bleaching several times), $50 for a metal transition strip to go in the doorway (which costs $6 at lowes or home depot), and so on. Anyway, her secretaries, and maintenance people always quit because they can't stand working for her, she get's rude and hangs up on you if you ever call her for anything, just in general a horrible, horrible landlord. She only gets away with it because there isn't any other nicer apartments in paducah. She also has several pending lawsuits pending against her for witholding deposits and racial discrimination. DON'T LIVE HERE!
