We hired Duane on the recommendation of a good friend who builds custom homes. We needed to stabilize our current home structure (D-log construction 30 y old) and add on a second story extension. Duane spent hours at the home detailing the existing structure and looking at possibilities for the addition. The addition was intended to be a replacement of our "attic" as the roofline was caving in and causing the walls under it to splay - wasn't originally built to code to withstand the Colorado winters. Duane gave us an array of ideas - all very practical with 3-D renderings, and we ended up making this into the Master bedroom with great mountain views. His insight in the whole planning process was invaluable. He was very timely with his drawings (which all met with the civil engineer's approval) and revisions. His rates were extremely reasonable, no charges for revisions, AND even AFTER "his part of the project" was done, he stayed in contact with the builder and his crew and was available for any questions. Duane was a very lucky find!
