Unsettling experience

I booked in July of 2010 for a trip in February of 2011, that is that is a good eight months in advance, using this agency. From the very beginning there were warning signs going off. First being that she is very overbearing personality, and the trip she found me, I could have gotten myself just by going to the Hotel's website. She did not get me any special savings or deals what so ever. But looking past that, I paid for the trip. I had also explained to her that I am a diabetic and stress is not my friend. One week prior to our departure date, she called me and said that our Hotel had over booked and she accepted and offer for us for an upgrade to a nicer Hotel. But the room was not an ocean view like I had originally paid for, and I was not happy with this supposed upgrade. She had gone as far as to tell me that we had no choice in the matter and if we did not accept the upgrade we would have to change our dates or get refunded for the trip. Imagine the stress I felt. After waiting for 3 days for the higher ups to call me back and tell me that the upgrade was given to some one else and we were good to go to our original Hotel and room. Unnecessary stress and aggravation!!!!!
