I purchased a ticket and caught a bus connection here, at (S&A) Hamilton Mini Mart on February 24th, 2013.



The gentleman-scholar, Lake, behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. At first my bus ticket came up with a different layover point - which he immediately called Greyhound checked everything for me and corrected the computers' error - saving me almost $20! He allowed me to wait inside his store for nearly an hour while I waited for the bus. I grabbed a quick microwave bowl of soup and he was kind to give me a spoon, which weren't on the counter. Then as I looked at the variety of food stuffs from Nepal and Asia he was happy to explain the items, their tastes and uses! I ended up buying a terrific jar of Spicy Pickled Garlic - which was as hot as he told me - love it!



If you are ever in (Corning) Gang Mills, NY - stop in and talk with Lake ... he is a fascinating gentleman-scholar and I hope he returns to teaching at a university!



Thank you Lake - you were the best part of the bus trip and I'm still enjoying the garlic and sharing with friends! Thank you :)
