The origins of this club are with tennis but today it is sold and marketed as an all round club. In a management change awhile ago I noticed a change in the management philosophy that drives and shape the organization. Many unique and pleasing aspect of the original club still remain: Kids club, great long term staff and the ability to ride, walk and borrow snow shoes in the winter. But at its heart it is now corporation wanting to make money. I feel the accountants and financiers now rule this company, if follow all the rules and don’t complain, and bend your needs to theirs, no problem. But on all these counts I have found the management, policies and desire to make the customer happy is severely lacking.

E-mailed networking (bring a friend) regular and often… a staff manager who answers the phone (do not screen their call) harder to find.

Sales is charming… accounting is sour.

Marketing promotion plentiful, itemized invoices or kids parties or foods your way? No way.

And if you cancel… don’t be a day late… they don’t do refunds…

In short: My family used to look forward to multiple weekly trips to this gym, now I have mainly a sour taste of unreturned voicemail, blunt rudeness and a lament of a club I used to love…

It has the latest in equipment, 13 tennis courts, a brand new outdoor pool/cafe, indoor pool, Over 85 Group Exercise classes per week including Yoga, Pilates, Indoor Cycling and all 7 of the Body Training Systems classes,Racquetball, Squash, Basketball, Indoor Track, KidTown, M Cafe, Pro Shop, Immaculate Locker Rooms, Spa.
