Whoa!! Stay far far away from this outfit. If I could I wouldn't give any stars at all. This man took aprox 8 YEARS to complete my 10 bird mounts. The first mount he finished was decent so I gave him more birds to mount. However, all the rest he mulitated and the mounts don't look anything like the birds are supposed to. The eyes are wrong color and shape, the feathers were awful and he put padding exactly where it should not be. And I told him how it should be done, showed him large accurate photos of the birds, came by to check on them and again mentioned the eyes and other issues and he still ruined them. They don't look anything like they are supposed to. I gave him absolutely perfect specimens and he ruined them all but the first one he completed. All I can do now is throw out the really crappy ones a maybe keep about 3 that are acceptable. I gave him some very beautiful and very rare species and he gave me back trash.....and I PAID HIM TOP DOLLAR to boot. Next time I'll have my 3 year old grand son do the job, surely he can do better AND it won't take 8 years to do the job. I'm so disappointed. Anyone reading this better beware. He tried to make excuses for his crappy work but that doesn't cut it when I see on his workbench that he butchers the critters rather than make them look anything even remotely similar to what they should look like. Don't waste your money with this outfit. If you do you won't be happy with the results.



I am so disappointed that I felt the urge to sign up for yelp, so this is my first review and probable my last. Its sad, I had so much faith in this guy and he ruined $1000's of dollars worth of specimens plus I paid him $1000's to do it. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM OLD WORLD TAXIDERMY!!!



FYI, I don't not exaggerate one bit in this review. Actually, you should hear how I REALLY feel but I'm trying to keep this clean. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!



Come on.....8 years to mount a few birds...and he still &%$#ed them up.



I'm not familiar with yelp but if someone needs to contact me [if there is a way to do so] I'll be happy to explain further. This is 100% the truth and I held back my true feeling on his performance. Now I'm out a ton of $ because of his incompetence.

Find another taxidermist and good luck. If old world taxidermy can reply to this review don't believe him for one second. His excuses are not valid.



OH! I paid him in full last year and when I just went to pick up the last of the mounts he said I still owed him. I have proof that he is paid in full. This guy is too old to do business anymore.
