Recently, a deer ran into our car, hitting it with a glancing blow. The deer ran off the road, apparently unhurt, or not hurt badly (there was no blood left on the road or car). However, the left end of the flexible bumper was popped off clips around the wheel well, and a proximity sensor was pushed out of its bumper mount. Not wanting to report this to insurance, I hoped the cost to remount the sensor and bumper would be less than our deductible. So, we took the car to L&P.

After their estimator took a look at it, he asked if he could take it back to shop. At this point, it appeared that this was not going to be good...

He brought the car back in about 10 minutes, with the bumper and sensor remounted! When I asked the cost, the answer was a major surprise: "No charge!"

They could easily have charged $100 (or more), and I would have been happy to pay for the quick and effective fix. However, they charged nothing.

NOTE: This is the 4th time we've taken a car to L&P for repair, and every time the experience has been such that we would recommend them to anyone!!
