Did a great job the 1st time I took something. Now I wonder if it had to do with me telling him I was on a local govt advisory board. Kept going back for a year or more and service got slower and slower, til most recent job, he kept our mower for 2 months (literally!) until I finally said we'd take it home partially repaired. He'd said something went wrong with the electrical after he'd replaced the drive belt. When I picked it up, it was sitting by road, not in his shop. There was another gentlemen there asking when he'd finish his repair, and he answered a call and told someone he was 'working on it now'. Got it home and my husband reconnected the ground wire. Started it up to find it doing the exact thing we took it in for. Smoking and squealing, and this time, it wouldn't even go when the gas was pressed. I'm grateful I got it back (cost me $40 this time) because I've spoken to others who never got back their machines. Idk, I guess I was more persistent. I will never take anything there again, and I highly recommend you don't either.
