Best place around town for tires or auto repair!

I've done business at quite a few tire dealers in all my years, and this place is by far one of the best. Every time I go in everyone there is very courteous and informative. If there is something wrong with my vehicle they let me know. It's nice to see there are still places that care about your safety! And they offer to beat any shops prices in Palestine! Definitely The only shop my vehicles are going to!

Had a tire patched here, it leaked from patch within 2 weeks, 4/32 worth of tread.

Somehow I deemed it a good idea to buy brand new tires from them, here I sit at the emergency room with my newborn daughter less than six hours after they installed the tires and I have a flat. You might think I ran something over, hardly. After they installed tires and did a front end alignment, I wasn't even out of the lot before I knew something wasn't right, except for the steering wheel pulling right, only 20psi in right front tire, all other tires are good, instead of maybe checking the bead on the tire they just put more air in it. So now when I leave the hospital I get to put the spare back on in the middle of the night. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Go to Walmart, I would trust the greeter there with my tires before I'd go back to this place.

Save your self time, go some where else. Bough tires, after 3 times coming back for a vibration I had to try another brand. now I paid $1100 for the first set and they charged me $539 for the other and had to take them to Tyler for a second balance. So in all I must have $2 grand in a set of mid quality tires. I have always used this place for all my tires,,, I will go some where else for now on. That took a lot of time and aggravation I didn't need with my work schedule. Think I'm pissed my wife wanted to go up there and make them pick up the tab! Knowing that would be a battle we'll place a Honest review on the INTERNET! Have a nice day! PS CLEAN THAT NASTY BATH ROOM SMELLS LIKE PEE!

Mattern Tire has proven time after time that they will do everything they can to make sure you get a good deal and you leave happy and safe. My experience with the people who work the counter there has always been positive. They have done a lot to make sure my family and I and our vehicle leave safe and happy. Anytime that something on a vehicle needs replaced they make sure they show the part that is bad to the customer and explain to them exactly why its bad and why it should be replaced. They do not force the work on anybody. I have been in the store a few times while other people were arguing with the employees about their cars repairs and the people on the counter stayed calm and tried their best to assure the customer that the repair was necessary and that if they didn't want it repaired then they didn't have to. Their company policy is to tell the customer any problems that are noticed on the car, so that the customer knows and can the appropriate steps to make sure they stay safe. And they have always lowered their priced to make sure i can afford to have the repair done.
