I recently bought a home from Maronda and what a horrible workmanship! Crooked ceilings, crooked floors. I made several claims on the warranty....well good luck getting them to do anything. And if they do anything, it will be of the worst workmanship. They get very rude when you call and they may answer your calls, but dont expect any satisfactory results. THE WORST PART WAS THAT THE PLACED THE SEPTIC TANK IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BACKYARD. I FOUND OUT AFTER I HIRED A COMPANY TO PUT A POOL IN MY BACKYARD, I GOT AN INSPECTION FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I NOT PUT A POOL IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BACKYARD, ONLY AT THE CORNER AND A SMALL ONE. (PRACTICALLY IN MY NEIGHBORS BACKYARD) Who wouldnt love that right!! Who would want to buy a house with a pool like that?? KNOW I HAVE TO PAY $5,000.00 DOLLARS TO HAVE IT MOVED IN A CORNER WHERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! AND THE SEPTIC COMPANY THAT THEY USE "PENCE" ABSOLUTE INCOMPENTENCE. ALL THEY DID IS BLAME EACH OTHER. MAKE SURE YOU CALL THEM FOR THE 6 MONTH CHECK UP BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT COME AND DONT EXPECT ANY REAL "CHECK UP" OF COURSE THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOU LIKE APPROX $500.00 EVERY 2 YEARS, BUT THAT IS JUST FOR CHECK NOT MAINTENANCE! AND THEY TELL YOU NOT TO USE HAIR CONDITIONER OR FABRIC SOFTENER BECAUSE IT WILL DAMAGE THE SEPTIC. HAD I KNOWN I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT THIS NIGHTMARE!!!! Now I have to go thru the better business bureau to fight it out with these people! Stay away from MARONDA. They very nice, but as soon as they get your money,,, you are on your own! And their closing company that they use are as rude and incompetent and you can possibly be!

We asked the realtor if we were able to put a swimming pool, and he said yes!! of course!!! He neglected to say that it was in a small corner practically in your neighbors backyard! Who would not love that!!!
