Beth M. is a customer that purchased three 2 1/2 gallons of chlorine. After using almost one of the 2 1/2 gallons, she tried to return all three. Even though the chlorine was perfectly fine, we refunded her $8.52 on the two she brought back that were unused. We were unable to refund her $4.26 on the one 2 1/12 gallon because it was half gone. Her reason for returning was that it didn't work for a project she was doing. Regardless, we do not take back chemicals that have opened for any reason.

Anyone that does business with us knows we are not crooks. We are reasonable and back-up our products when given the chance too.



R&S Softwater Service has proudly served Brevard County and surrounding areas for over 65 years. Hundreds of residents call on us weekly to handle a variety of water treatment and sprinkler system issues/problems. Any complaint or unhappy customer is taken serious. Throughout the 65 years in business, customer satisfaction has/is our foundation of building a successful business and will continue.



In reference to the below comments, they are hard for a owner to read. We strive for 100% satisfaction daily. Without the customers names, addresses it is impossible to find these service tickets and see what exactly happened on our end. R&S handles about 100-125 service calls a week.



To the first comment. R&S Softwater Service runs service calls 6 days a week. Monday thru Saturday 8am-5pm. 95% of all calls are done within 24 hours of receiving them. Most are done the same day they are written. Besides the first year labor warranty, all other warranties are manufactures. They are not this companies warranty to void. As a representative of the manufactured products we sell, we are bound to honor any warranties that come thru our doors. We often honor warranties to equipment that was never sold by R&S and was abandoned by other companies now out of business. I truly feel there was huge misunderstanding with this customer and will work to improve this companies communication with homeowners.



To the second comment. I have a lot of confidence in what my servicemen do in the field. Collectively they have over 65 years experience in this area, but this does not mean they never make mistakes. R&S can fix any water softener that we have installed, but there comes a time water softeners do need to be replaced. Every home we go into has it's own set of circumstances that play into a serviceman's opinion of what the right option is. Fix or replace. Without the customers name and address I can not tell what circumstances made the serviceman recommend a replacement.

Absolutely terrible. They do not live up to the products they sell. The owner Bill Wilson very belligerent and rude. I had to call three times he kept hanging up on me. Poor customer service, poor products. I told a complaint with the BBB I went to another company handed them the product R&S sold me and said what a joke. I will no longer do business with those crooks. You own a business you should at least back up your product....

On 9/26/15 I had to have R&S come out cause my conditioner was not working right, Nancy was the ladies name I told her I could not pay them until the 3rd so she told me she would hold my check until them and I have copies and she did not live up to that and normally I would not do that, Chris came out and supposedly fixed it, WRONG still broken and they do not work with you and I am asking for a refund and go elsewhere I am also going to the BBB if they don't refund me they also took advantage of a recent widow

I bought a softner from R&S a year ago. Two months after I had it, something minor broke on a Friday afternoon but it was enough that I would have no water. I called R&S and a woman answered and said they couldn't do anything until Monday. So I called another service as we couldn't go the weekend without water. They came out and fixed it. I called R&S on Monday and the same woman answered, I think her name was Jessica, and she told me since we had it fixed, they were voiding our warranty. She was very rude to me. So I wrote a letter to the president of the company and sent it certified and I never got an answer. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced with any company and I would definitely warn others about them.

total crooks. tried to tell me my softener was not worth fixing even though their service tech had hardly looked at it. i caught him in 2 different lies and asked him to leave. Called a different company and they came out, did a FULL check and had it working in no time. said it was a good system and there was no reason to replace it. R and S tried to pressure me to replace when there was no need to. no telling how many people they pressure into spending extra money there is no need to spend
