Founded in 1989, Riviera Elementary School serves more than 750 students in prekindergarten through grade six. It has over 45 instructional staff members and is located in Palm Bay, Fla. The school s computer laboratories are equipped with modern software in reading, writing and mathematics. Its media center features more than 20,000 items, including books, magazines, software and audiovisual titles. Riviera Elementary School also offers peer mediation programs, art competitions and science projects. It encourages parental involvement in campus activities and promotes business partnerships through mentoring programs and classroom presentations. The school additionally operates a parent resource center that features electronic equipment, books, educational board games, flash cards and puzzles. Riviera Elementary School is managed by Brevard Public Schools.
