Like the majority of landscapers they just want to get in and out with little concern as to what happens in between. Other than cutting the grass, they have little to no knowledge of how to properly trim anything else. They cut a cable supporting a large bougainvillea tree and didn't say anything, so it fell over onto my BMW 750 in a subsequent storm. Then they came out to hurriedly right it, which to them a 25 degree angle was close enough, so ultimately I had to hire a real landscaper to fix the bougainvillea and properly trim everything else throughout my yard for $400. When they severed a sprinkler head and didn't say anything other than capping it, that lead to a massive leak that cost me $170 to repair. In the meantime sections of my lawn were drying and dying in that zone, for which they said nothing either. Had I been a snowbird and gone for the summer, my lawn and other plants would have been dead under their care.
