This dentist offered a treatment plan for my minor child that was questionable, and so we got a second, and then a third opinion from pediatric dentists in neighboring cities. Both the second and third opinions came back very similarly...and both were about half the work suggested by Dr.Cruz. While my main complaint is the fact that his proposed treatment plan included unnecessary and costly elements, my secondary complaint is about the doctor himself. His attitude was very much 'my way or the highway', and he seemed to take offense/respond defensively when I asked specifics about the treatments themselves. While his verbiage was civil, his tone left little room to misunderstand his intention- which I believe was to insist that his treatment plan was the only one available, no matter where we went, and would have dire consequences if not followed. I would, for both reasons listed above, not only not suggest this dentist to others, but to actively warn them away from him.
