Provided by YP.comWhile considering purchase of a pre-owned Jaguar (from private party), searched for local servicing garage in Palm Desert for honest assessment of car. Stopped by Edmund's to first check them out. Was VERY impressed with garage & staff -especially Edmund, who took time to answer my many, many questions (it's my 1st Jag). Returned a day later for complete inspection ... and it was extremely thorough. While waiting, met several Edmund's mechanics. A very friendly shop, indeed.
Bought the car AND identified the servicing garage that will be caring for it.
Thank you Edmund!

Provided by YP.comDo not use this guy. He has a foolish lack of loyalty and respect for long term customers. I took my car in for a minor gas gauge problem and the next day the engine blew up on a trip to Starbucks. An employee punctured a coolant hose. Edmund refused to acknowledge any responsibility. We had an expensive repair at another shop and have told everyone we know not to use this guy. The other shop said the puncture in the hose was recent and the car could only have been driven a few miles after the puncture. When the problem was diagnosed Edmonds only reaction was to get the car as far
away from him as he could.
This review is completely inaccurate. How can you say such a lie. I have helped your husband out so many times. When your husband Paul brought the xjr in it was leaking coolant from the thermostat housing block. I replaced the thermostat housing gasket and fuel sender at that time. The next time the car came in it was for another different coolant leak. When the car was driven to my shop this time the bypass hose underneath the supercharger was blown. Your husband told me he knew there was coolant leaking but continued to drive it anyway. I replaced the bypass hose (which any jaguar mechanic knows on a xjr it is the most difficult hose to change on any jaguar) and I replaced the lower radiator hose as well. All I charged him was for parts only (knowing his financial situation). I normally charge 8 hrs labor for replacing these two hoses. But it was too late the head gasket was blown. It is the owners responsibility to pull over and call a tow truck when they are leaking coolant. Leave it to an ex race car driver to take a vechiles engine to the limit.
