Provided by YP.comThis is a wonderful school. My daughter has been attending since June of 2011. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. My daughter knows and loves all of the teachers and they are all great with kids. She has learned so much since she has started there, she comes home with arts and crafts and new songs everyday. They have PE and Spanish class which she also loves. She is currently in VPK with Miss Vickie and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. We also love Miss Kathleen, Miss Peggy, Miss Maria and Miss Susan. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter there everyday.

Provided by YP.comI would never recommen this business to anyone. My two children (5 and 3) were enrolled for about 5 months until we could get them moved to a better day care.
very minimal learning, very disorganize, unsafe (no security or supervision at front), and the management is down right rude. Class size is too large. I recently relocated, and I have heard the school systems were questionable. We moved to an area with "good" schools, but this learning center can not compete with day care in the north. Hopefully the Elementary school is better.
I can not stress enough that your children will get zero personal attention and you will get none either. I have met a few (2) teachers in there that are trying, but they will admit the rest are just giong through the motions and getting their paycheck. If you are blessed with one of them as a teacher you might be OK, but the system, management and 90% of the staff have no business being around children. If you don't love kids, don't work at a day care......seems logical to me.

Provided by YP.comI have had my kids there for 6 years. They have a great staff who are extremely helpful. My children love the playgrounds and summer camp, they have great educational field trips. I feel very comfortable having my children there. Would definetly recommend.

Provided by YP.comMy 3 1/2 year old son attends this school and has since he was 12 weeks old. It is a rather large school but for me this is a positive. My son is extremely shy and by allowing him to interact with all types of children it has greatly improved his social skills. Also, a positive to this school, is that it is not always closing for some crazy reason. The issue my husband and I had with the small day cares is that they can close for one person being sick. Our thought was that if I could take off 2 days a week from work I could just stay home with our son and not work. Also the baby rooms were not bad at all. I found the teachers to be very nice and still come and visit my son now that he is in the toddler building. If you are looking for a daycare you need to weigh the pluses against the negatives. A room with 6 pooping babies is going to smell a little. Get over it. There were times when I'm sure my house smelled and that was only one baby. They also use very potent cleaning agents to sanitize and surfaces at the end of the day and these do smell rather yucky. All in all I feel that this school is a good choice for parents who want their children to engage in activities and to be taught and not just babysat.

Provided by YP.comExcel Learning Center is a nice looking school on the outside but looks are deceiving ! i had to pull out my 1 year old from the infant room because the infant center smelled terribly every time i dropped off & picked her up! My baby was always filthy, diaper always soaked and she got a severe rash because of it! i have her in a smaller daycare & everything is working great! I have read a lot of poor comments on Excel Learning Center and i agree with these people! Your child is the most valuable thing in our lives and they deserve the best care! i would hope that DCF checks up on Excel because they need to do alot of changes! A lot of the teachers are on their cell phones or talking with each other instead of watching the kids!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter was in Ms. Stacey's class and she was scolded badly for something that was not her fault! Im thinking of pulling her out because this daycare has too much chaos 7 a bad reputation that i see definitely from these reviews.

Provided by YP.comThis daycare is way too big to put your small fragile child in! I pulled my child out because of the biting, dirty diapers. and stench throughout the whole infant center! The teacher was too busy to keep a watch on all the babies! i would not recommend this school to any of my friends.

Provided by YP.comthis daycare has too many children. There is nothing personal about excel learning center. The director does not even know the kids that well. The teachers are overworked and always look cranky when i pick up my son. Im looking for a new daycare because my son comes home everyday with someone biting him! do not bring your child to this school! You will be very disappointed.
