Though I had several less significant issues over the years and generally felt Steve's communication to be lacking; the latest issue I had with him was inexcusably unprofessional. My impeller had broken and I authorized Steve to repair it. After his repair I found water squirting out of two pinhole cracks in the impeller pump housing. I took a photo of the problem and sent it to him. After waiting a week for a reply; I thought perhaps my email got lost so I reached out again and he stated “I did not reply due to the fact I would say something I may later regret. I gave up my one day off to get your pool water circulating…” He sent a final invoice and has been completely non-responsive to me since then. His disregard for my time and now his refusal to reply to me at all speaks volumes about his personality and how you can expect to be treated as a valued customer of Monkey Rock Pools. Save yourself the headache and just find another pool service to begin with.
