My son, Ryan, is 22 years old and has a learning disorder. I hired Jennifer Young from Seeds of Knowledge to tutor Ryan on the DMV handbook in preparation for the written DMV test.
Jennifer was very patient and came up with some creative teaching methods such as drawing out certain traffic
situations and using a vocabulary list to learn and understand DMV terms. I highly recommend Jennifer for all types of tutoring as she is excellent at explaining concepts and making sure the student understands before moving on.

Jennifer was my tutor for around six weeks and helped me improve my GRE score. I had previously taken the GRE and wasn't extremely satisfied with my score and reached out for help. Over the course of six weeks she helped me prepare for the GRE and gave me structure on what to focus on. She always knew how to answer any question I may of had and prepared me well for the GRE. We focused on the entire test to make me feel the best going in to it. I highly recommend! She is awesome!!

Jennifer is a great SAT tutor! The first thing she did was to give my daughter a diagnostic test to pinpoint exactly what her strengths and weaknesses were. Based on the diagnostic test and Jennifer’s recommendation, we signed up for 15 tutoring sessions, two hours each. The sessions always focused on the skills that my daughter had the most trouble with. She gave a good amount of homework between sessions, and always reviewed any problems that my daughter needed more help with. Jennifer was able to cover an impressive amount of content in the sessions, and my daughter felt that Jennifer well extremely well organized and prepared. My daughter’s SAT scores increased significantly because of Jennifer! We were thrilled!

We are absolutely thrilled with the tutoring experience our son got with Jennifer in preparing for the SAT. His score increased 400 points! Our goal at the beginning of this was to get a score high enough to get the Bright Futures Scholarship. That goal was met and passed. Jennifer is very organized and thorough. Her approach was tailored to our son’s needs. She focused not only on the subject areas, but also on test-taking strategies. Although there was homework to be done, it was never overwhelming or “busy work”. His confidence going into the SAT after working with her was very high. I have and will continue to recommend her to others for tutoring.
