A note about “GICLEE. ” the term “GICLEE” was coined about 1991 by a printmaker jack DUGANNE for the reproduction of fine ART prints created on inkjet printer. Since then the process has greatly improved. The GICLEE process involves large format systems which provide very high resolution. The GICLEE uses a large number of fade resistant archival inks which are pigments instead of dyes AS are used in the typical injet. And the printing CAN BE done on high quality canvas or archival quality paper. The artist examines every reproduction which HE enhances before distribution.
