Outstanding

Recently renovated. Lobby, guest rooms and restaurant were very nice. Food and service we excellent and I would go back again.

Good location in Palm Springs

The Hilton in Palms Springs is probably the most family friendly of the Hyatt, Wyndham and Hilton trifecta of large hotels in the hub location of Palm Springs near Palm Canyon Drive, but you're paying for the location. The poolview corner suites are a good size, but don't have refrigerators or plasma TVs. This hotel could use a renovation of the rooms' furniture and accoutrement. The bathroom seemed recently renovated -- the numbered temperature control knob on the shower is a nice touch. The patios need to be cleaned, and the hotel needs to remodel the central pool area to cut down on the noise. They also need more parking. It was ridiculous to pay for parking... and then not be given a refund when all their spaces were filled. The hotel nickels and dimes you in a way that's ridiculous for the price. Oh... and be sure to put the Do Not Disturb placard on your doorhandle... Ay, yi, yi... Enough already with housekeeping knocking on your door all day with Evian bottles or stuff. The frequency's almost absurd.
