Palm Springs High School is a college preparatory school that enrolls more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12, and is located in Palm Springs, Calif. The core curricular areas include English, mathematics, social science and social studies. Its facilities include playing fields; sports area that houses shower rooms, lockers and weight room; swimming pool; cafeteria; visual arts facility; and a computer graphics lab. The school has a special fundraising drive to fund various projects, such as after school tutoring, intervention programs, continuing education for teachers and books and training for teachers of new advanced placement courses. Its clubs include chess, environmental, Asian, theater, choir, and dance clubs. The school is a part of the Palm Springs Unified School District.
