On 1/7/14 I presented at Desert Vip Urgent Care (DVUC) with laceration over my right eye that was bleeding profusely. I was told by a young man in scrubs that two doctors said that could not treat me because they did not have CT equipment at the facility. I was told to go to the Desert Regional ER for treatment. I had to take a taxi there where I was treated with 7 stitches that closed the wound. There were 30 people in their waiting room and NONE at the DVUC. When I related this experience to my GP he said that this denial of service was outrageous. Albert MorrisonSan Clemente, CA
