One the school rate of graduating is very low. And i graduated in 2009 as a student from there. There is a lot of crime in that school. Like rapes,gang affliations,fighting and shootings and stabbings. They dont have not enough progams to help alot of the good students. They treat the special education kids and i mean the kids they treat them really mean. I would never take my son there because of what i went thru in there.

I visited this school about 1 month ago and sad to say this school needs help. The schools appearence was very sad to see there was no pride from teachers or students just from the looks of it. If this school has a principal he/she must be out to lunch or does not care about the school. I'm sure the lack of money has a lot to do with it. For a "good" student new to this school, is a very scary place to have to adjust to and for a parent who really cares about his kids well being and education, sending them to this school is even scarier. A high School should look like a school not an animal house,it should feel safe not dangerous,it should look clean not dirty with papers all over,it should have security after school not thugs hanging out,I was there and I saw this so needless to say my son will not be attending this school ever.....To the principal, really call out to parents and students and teach more about pride of having a school with a good appearence. I did not mention about the good students and good teachers in this school because like myself there will be other parents out there that will never give your school a chance just by looking at it!!!! Cause remember "it only takes one time to make a good first impression"
