I have always enjoyed Pick Up Stix, until... I guess I had never been there when it wasn't "lunch combo" time. I went in there with my sons to have dinner. My bill was almost $40. The lunch specials, especially the house chicken, is great. But, if you are going there anytime after 3:00, you might as well go to a real chinese restaurant and get a "real" meal for half the price. Sorry Pick Up Stix, but your food really doesn't add up to the price.

The food is great! I love the quick service and calling ahead is a plus if you are a busy MOM like myself. If you want something lite, get a salad, they are GREAT!

I'd describe the food as "trendy asian." The menu items are non-traditional and very tasty. Their Pad Thai is a good example of how they are different. They use lemon rather than lime, and the sauce isn't what you'd expect from a traditional Thai restaurant, but it's really good. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and it was covered in cornstarch prior to frying which was out of the ordinary and really excellent. The portion sizes are also good. The downside is price. I consider them overpriced for the type of restaurant they are, which is why I gave them a 4, but the uniqueness brings me back.
