Dropped off vehicle at Walker & Sons because of coolant leak, next thing I am being told I need two back tires because metal is coming through - my friend is using the old tires they are still good. Was also told the brakes and rotors shot.



Following week I got on the freeway, the “Check Engine Light” went on and car started to vibrate. I took the car to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Newhall.



Results: Brake fluid was dirty and had not been changed when Walker & Sons did supposed brake and rotor job. Reason for “Check Engine Light” Thermostat was not functioning properly wrong one for a Volvo. Reason for vibration: Tires improperly balanced.



Walker & Sons and their Rep D.J. can claim whatever they want. Bottom line I paid for services done incorrectly, incompletely, unnecessary PLUS I had to pay twice because I had to pay Newhall Firestone to redo the botched job.



Also, I had taken vehicle into Walker & Sons a few times before this to have them check front right tire that seemed to leak air. They never could find a leak. Newhall Firestone found the leak and fixed it.



If you are into incompetence, lack of integrity, have money to burn then Walker & Sons is for you.
