TERRIBLE!!! I went into the store on May 11, 2013 with my mother who was looking to purchase a mother-of-the-bride dress. The lady that greeted us at the door was very rude and pushy. She would not let us look at any of the dresses. Instead, she picked out ones that she felt my mother would like. She completely ignored the amount of money that my mother wanted to spend and would not let her try on any dresses that she chose for herself. Once my mother got into the first dress she kept saying how wonderful it looked and she MUST purchase the dress TODAY! She ignored my mother's request to wait and think about it. Eventually, my mother asked about the layway service. My mother thought that she would put a small down payment on the dress and take it off layway if she changed her mind. However, that was not the case. The "layway" program is not a layway program. You must purchase whatever you put on layway or they will charge your credit card.

I told my mother to NOT sign the paperwork because she would be stuck with a dress whether she wanted it or not. The dress was overpriced and with the attitude we decided to NOT sign the paperwork and got a refund. The lady was very RUDE and argued with us about not putting the dress on layway. FINALLY, I told her how I was not pleased with her attitude and service. She started yelling at me. She wanted to know my career and where I worked. An employee of a bridal shoppe DOES NOT need to know this type of information about a customer. To say the least, I will NEVER shop at this store again or ever recommend it. Stay FAR, FAR AWAY.

Also, I confronted her about the "poor" rating/grade that the company has on the internet. She told me that it was competitor writing all of these poor reviews. After dealing with her we KNOW it is not a competitor, it is the customers.

I was searching for my prom dress, and we were running out of local options. As a last resort, despite the bad reviews and stories we had heard, we went to the Cinderella Shoppe. We went in there, and the owner rudely asked what were doing there, and we told her, "looking for a prom dress". She told us she didn't have any, and looking around at the colorful dresses we asked to look anyways. And then she told me no, and that she didn't think "any would fit". Now, I'm not the skinniest, but I'm by no means fat! It wasn't her place to say that anyways! She was rude, and I will NOT go there again.
