Provided by YP.comWas very disappointed. Went for highlights and got a base on the roots. $140 later and about 15 highlight foils called back and said needed more highlights as could see the dark roots. Would accommodate for another $50-60. Decided not to give them anymore money.
Went to Ulta instead of paying more for what wasn't done to them and saw Michelle. Awesome job and very professional. Another $100 but worth it.

Provided by YP.comI am saddened that Ms. Huard felt her experience was less than stellar. With that being said During her first visit Ms. Huard experienced sensitivity to the professional color that was used to lighten her hair and because the product was unable to process for the full time resulting in her color was not being as light as she wanted. I invited her back free of charge to further lighten her hair to her liking. During this visit I lightened her hair but she refused the color glaze that would have given her the color she desired. I have tried to work with this client only to be threatened with public slander by "everyone she knows". I took before and after photos ( to which the client consented) and even used them on our facebook page as her color was pretty it just wasn't lightened to her liking. I posted the pictures while the client was still in my chair with her review and approval. Again i am sorry Ms. Huard is unhappy but if you are interested in seeing my work for yourself please visit www.facebook/absolutetopshairspecialist.com Thank you Jennifer Wakeley

Provided by YP.comI went in after winning a free hair cut on their Facebook page. I decided to get my color done at the same time. After a long consult by messaging, phone, sending a picture and then in person I was supposed to have my roots done and high and low lights. JENNIFER Wakeley was the stylist and she promised I would be happy as I explained I have been out of work for 3 years and can't work so money is extremely tight. I have had the same stylist for ten years and NEVER should have gone to anyone else. When coloring blonde hair you need to know what you're doing. Jennifer said " I work smarter not harder" when she told me she could match my roots with straight color instead of foils like I usually get. I trusted her. Instead I got a head full of orange hair. She tried to tone it but the product was burning my scalp under the dryer. She blamed me for not being able to process the toner and for having thyroid problems which can cause problems coloring hair. I have NEVER had a problem with my regular stylist in ten years but she knows what she is doing.
I went back for a color correction. I had talked with her ahead of time and asked if she was going to put all foils in my hair to get the orange out since my entire head was orange. She told me yes. When I got there she proceeded to paint the bleach on my hair and then put some of the bleach in foils. To say the least - my hair is a MESS! The foils processed fine to blonde and the painted on blonde processed in the back to white. The top of my head is still orange. My hair is a HOT MESS!!! She wanted to tone the white part and I just said forget it. I wanted the orange fixed and that obviously was the problem and was still not fixed. After drying my hair she said to me something like - if you go back to your stylist you can tell her I used blah blah blah product.
I barely made it out of her salon and was bawling. I called my stylist and went straight over there and she can fix my hair but of course I have to come up with the money AGAIN.
For a week I have looked at my hair and feel sick every single time I pass a mirror. I wrote to Jennifer and asked for a refund. I don't have the money to get it fixed. She offered to work with me again. I am NOT trusting her with bleach on my hair again. For all I know my hair will fall out next time. She actually accused me of scamming her. I have no desire to have any negativity in my life let alone SCAM someone. I paid her after the first appointment and thought in good faith that she would be able to fix my hair as she said she would.
I just want to warn you if you go there and want blonde hair or have blonde hair already - be warned if you see Jennifer. Had I seen something like this I NEVER would have taken the chance with my color.
ALSO - her pictures are very deceiving! The after picture she took of me looks fine. If my hair really looked that blonde then I would have been happy. It makes me think she has some app or does something to tone down bad colors.
I asked for a refund and it is not their policy to give refunds. Bad policy when someone is so upset.
I wish I had had a warning like this before going there.
