DON"T GO!!!!! I am not an upety up person. I am a middle class person. I paid $823.00 for 8 days. I did not get what i paid for. the rooms are very ran down. I know you just sleep in them but it is not that much cheaper than the other hotels. We have stayed here 5 years in a row. I know you are thinking " if it is that bad why are you going back. I do like the location. I has horrible parking area. you have to share with shary's parking. Each year they explain that they are doing remodeling NOT. So we would always give it the benefit of the doubt. They changed the name and put on there remodeled. it is worse this year than ever. ROACHES!!! It used to be called Americas best value inn. i will say that maid service (cleaning) was better this year than ever but some rooms had some valuable come up missing. Someone stole my shoes from the pool. although that could happen anywhere. I will not go back i have learned my lesson no more benefits of a doubt. They also could not accomodate our party of 30 and the rooms were booked in January. Request joining rooms, we did not get them. that put a damper on families preparing to have a refrigerator with the room next door. WE ask and paid for bottom floor rooms. they put some of our party on the second and third floor. then had them move 1 and 2 days into the trip. That is very poor service. If you pay for them in advance and (january) and some one walks in and ask for that room they should tell them it is already reserved. what is the point of reserving the room if you are not going to get it. Jack hammer outside my room at 9 am. it is vacation someone may want to sleep in. they used to have picnic tables out on the deck on the entire back of the hotel, they are gone. Too hot right outside the door to sit due to air condition unit. I have checked each year for other hotels and they are just a few dollars cheaper. The only thing is 10 feet right outside your door is the sand. the only other good thing was the picnic tables and they took those away. chairs in the pool were broke and only had about 10 of them. the pictures on the internet is cropped and fixed to be appealable. the door off of the dresser/ tv stand was completely missing. grout in the bathroom floor was smeared all over the floor room 159. I think they changed the name due to all the bad reviews on americas best value inn name. I am telling the absolute truth. We added it up and close to $5000 was spent between 6 rooms. Not worth it. Oh and you cannot use the back entrance to the room had to walk all the way around. Spend a few more dollars and be happy. I will
