They donâ??t use radiation, unlike other imaging tests, and are considered extremely safe for most patients. During an MRI, you will wear a hospital gown and earplugs while laying on a moveable table. You will need to lie completely still as the table is placed inside the MRI scanner to ensure clear imaging.
