Best fresh seafood restaurant anywhere in the Panhandle, and possibly the state of Florida. Period. Best feature is its daily selection of fresh fish prepared in various ways. Best is charcoal grilled. Usually always has scamp, red snapper, tuna, at times wahoo, and several varieties of grouper. Can't be beat !

Is was OK. I really enjoyed it. Noticed a roach. But that was the only flaw.

We went to Captain Anderson's on the evening of September 29th. The hostess tried to seat us in the middle of the dining room even though we were there for an early dinner, the restaurant was not crowded and the wall was filled with empty booths. After asking for a booth we were hesitantly seated in one. Our food was mediocre, but our biggest issue was with our server, Marcia B. Her attitude was horrible. She acted like we were a bother. When I asked a question about the appetizer list, she looked at me like she was irritated and read the appetizer list to me, which did not answer my question. She looked to see that I tipped before she thanked us (in a monotone voice) for coming to Captain Anderson's. I shouldn't have tipped at all. Captain Anderson's will never have to worry about us going back or referring anyone - ever.

Great Food and Atmosphere

We LOVE Capt. Anderson's! It is one restaurant our whole family looks forward to visiting each year. It is located on the marina so if you arrive early, you can be sure to get a window seat and watch the boats come in after a long day of fishing. They also have The Lady Anderson, which is a dinner cruise ship. The food is wonderful and fresh. The family who owns Capt. Anderson's is of Greek origin and stick to their family traditions and seasonings for flavor.

Someone from the Patronis family is always there to make sure guests are happy. I recommend the crab cakes for sure! The whole stuffed Flounder is also a great choice. We have NEVER gotten a bad dish out of the NUMEROUS times we have dined there.
