I have to say this was my first time here. I'd read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. The people were nice and I was seen the same day. I told them I wanted my hair lightened to a close to blonde color. I gave them the colors my previous lady used and told them it worked well. after about 30 min of being in the chair and some talking about the colors, we finally started. He kept constantly getting the stuff on my face. that was annoying. The water was very cold when they washed my head. He asked me how it looked after he pulled the towel off and I didn't like it already. I told him I didn't know. It was hard to tell wet. He cut my hair and it felt like he was pulling my hair out while he was cutting and brushing my hair dry with the dryer. When it was all done, my hair was not where near what I had told them I wanted. I was mortified. I couldn't believe it. It looked like a reddish orange with some bright yellow in it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He asked again if I liked it. I told him it was not what I asked him to do. He said it looked different in the sun. He told me to step outside with the mirror. Nope, no difference. I just grabbed my purse and told him how much so I could leave. Then after talking to his boss he came over and told me they would fix it. I didn't have any time left since they took 3 and half hours to cut and highlight. I was starving and I had to return home to pick up my kids. I was charged $128.00 for a horrible color job that wasn't what I told them to do and a hair cut. He told me to come back so they could fix it. I'm never returning. I don't want them messing it up again. I have a appointment with another lady at another salon who's fixing it for free. I'm going back to my old color. I was in tears the whole way home. Everyone who saw my hair thought I did it myself through a box. I've never been so angry at a salon in my entire life. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

A fabulous experience. I have long, curly, thick, complicated hair. Angel took over 10 inches off into a cute manageable style. It's a big city salon here in Panama City. And you can not beat the prices. Highly recommend this salon.

I have never been happier with everything about a salon! When I go in for an appointment, it's like visiting a friend. Everyone there is a skilled professional, but the thing I especially like is the relaxed atmosphere and friendliness of everyone--which includes the other customers. Dana has been cutting and coloring my hair for around four years, and I hope she never retires! She always, always does exactly what I want and gives me the best color I've ever had! Five stars just isn't enough!

This is the place to go! They are knowledgeable and care about you and your hair, the prices are very fair. We have been so pleased with Laurie, Dana, and Angel, and will continue to go to them for whatever hair things we want done!!

I recently visited the Funky Little Blues Hair Shack with my 9 year old daughter, my 12 year old son and my wife. We all needed cuts and my wife wanted color... This was our first visit as we are new in town... We were very impressed and satisfied with the customer service and results we recieved so much so that we will definitly be coming back. I was personally impressed with our stylist "Angel". He was very knowledgable, informative and I've never seen my wife look more beautiful, or happy! My kids were happy as well. THANK YOU Angel

I have been going to Dana to cut my hair for 4 years and never have I had a bad cut. If Dana is busy Angel will cut it and he is great, too. I have never had a bad experience here. I love it. I recently moved so now I drive 50 miles from Marianna to Panama City, just to get a haircut. If that does not tell you about this place, nothing will.

I took my son in for a haircut . The man who cut it would not listen to how I wanted it cut and was very rude I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed !!! I would never take him there or tell anyone about this salon! Last time I was there I had a wonderful time there were two woman there and they were both good ,but now I wont go back!

This is one of many hair places I've been since moving to FL and they are the ONLY one that hasn't ruined my hair! My sister and I went together and they did an awesome job on both of us. We have very different hair lengths/styles and we were both extremely satisfied with our new cuts! They are open later than average salons on Saturdays, that's a huge plus when you have children and need to work around that afternoon nap! The girls there are super friendly and the service is outstanding - highly recommend to everyone!
