Provided by YPmobileI adopted four cats from SJBHS just four months ago. I was told they were between 8-10weeks old and healthy. A week ago one of the kittens got sick and after testing we were told he had leukemia and had to be put down. Our vet advised testing our other cats and we learned one of the other cats has FIV. Our vet told us both cats were born with these problems.
St. Joseph Bay Humane Society does not care about the animals they are adopting out. All they care about is getting the money. They don't do the testing that is considered routine at most humane societies and could have shown these problems.
Also, two of the four kittens that should be about six months old right now, they're nine months old. They are either uneducated on determining age or lied to make them more "sellable".
