He waste of time .. He let's his clients get away not playing there child support ...

Russ Ramey was my first and only experience dealing with an attorney for any legal matter. My matter was specifically child custody and divorce.



I have to say that I’m not at all impressed with his performance and that of his staff. My initial impression of him was good and I felt confident that he would get the job done. Well, he got the job done but I it’s probably because my ex-wife didn’t fight me at all on the case.



This is a friendly warning to all of you that are looking for an attorney, particularly child custody and divorce. DO NOT hire Russell Ramey if you want your case handled in a timely manner and feel like you should be treated with respect after dishing out thousands of dollars for a service. His office staff is horrible at returning phone calls or being prompt about anything. They seem to move at super turtle speed. You can forget about talking to Ramey again after you have your initial meeting with him, unless you can hunt him down and corner him. It has taken my case nearly 9 months to get resolved with no legal opposition. I don’t have any experience with the justice system but that seems like an unusually long time for a simple divorce/child custody case. If I could do it all over I would have shopped around and hired someone else.



Now I will give him this. He gave me a pretty decent retainer fee (under $5k) but I guess you get what you pay for.
