Provided by YP.comIs there any way to give this place zero stars? I asked for over medium eggs, was emphatic about no runny whites, only to get RAW Eggs. I am talking CLEAR egg yolk in the middle. They asked if I wanted another egg, so I ordered scrambled with cheese, THOSE eggs came to me tasteless and UNDERCOOKED. Sausage patties and hashbrowns were UNDERCOOKED.
Pancakes were like rubber according to my Dad who I was taking out for a Valentines Breakfast today. The only good thing about the food was their french toast. Coffee was cold. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told there was no manager on duty only a lead waitress whom I never was allowed to speak with. They took my coffees off the meal and expected that to be ok.
First, I was told there was a manager onsite, then only a lead waitress both I never got to meet. I am angry and insulted and will not be dining here again. Then the lady told me I ATE most of my meal, which was a LIE because the other waitress took the UNDERCOOKED egg and sausage off my table. I would have been fine paying for the pancakes, french toast and coffees (though they were cold) paying for crap food and bad service is not a way to get people back in your door and feeding people RAW MEAT PRODUCTS is a way to good a visit from a health inspector, lets hope I don't get sick.

Provided by YP.comSo far my favorite diner in Arlington! Mom and Pop restaurant. A BIG PLUS. Try their cinnamon french toast. Wont be dissapointed.

Provided by YPmobileWe came here for dinner and were not impressed at all whatsoever. The meat was tough and flavorless, and the creamed corn was literally corn in milk. Would not come here again.

Provided by YP.comWe went to the First Dixie Café on the last Saturday of June for breakfast. The reason I say the date is that we have returned twice since. Once with another person and later this past Sunday with a group of 10. Why? Because the food is GREAT and the service is very friendly.
I have had breakfast and lunch on separate occasions and both were top notch. Their grits are the best I have ever had -melt in your mouth! These folks buy fresh from local farmers and it certainly shows!
The wait staff is attentive and wonderfully nice. It doesn't hurt that they are all cute as can be too.
We will definitely continue to go here and invite friends to experience it too.
The ONLY thing that they should work on is allowing more of the wait staff to use the cash register. Apparently only the owner is allowed and that kept us waiting to leave for nearly 30 minutes. The waitress we had was wonderful and I am sure she'd have had it done as quickly and accurately as she did everything else for our large group. If you don't trust your wait staff, maybe put a camera on the register? Just a suggestion.
