Provided by YP.comTerrible experience! Always extra but unnecessary tests and vaccines for boarding (according to my dog's vet). They even gave my dog double doses of vaccines!!
Many staffs are rude and impatient if you dare to ask questions that are not convenient to them.

Provided by YP.comI can't recommend Paoli Vetcare highly enough! I have been using them for many years, originally with our cat, Callie, and then with our first dachshund, Minnow. Our three year dachshund, Waldi, has been a patient at Paoli Vetcare since he was 10 weeks old. He loves the place and can't wait to get in the door and be greeted by the staff. I use their daycare service regularly and board him occasionally. Waldi has developed many human and canine friendships, and the staff all know him (and me) by name! My son and his fiancee recently adopted a 12 week old kitten, and based on our experience with the practice, they have decided to also use Paoli Vetcare, even though they are living in Phoenixville.

Provided by YP.comI moved to the West Chester area in 2012 and worked in Devon. I had a young dog and needed to find a new vet. I choose Paoli Vetcare after doing some research.
Now, I've been bringing that same dog here for over 6 years. He comes here for all checkups and ailments. He's had at least a couple minor surgeries that I can recall. I've moved farther away in the last few years and now often work from home; I'm rarely close to Paoli anymore. However, I continue to bring my dog here. They are always very caring, honest, and have never tried to sell us something we didn't need.
Additionally, I used to bring my dog here daily for daycare. It was very convenient and I never had any issues. I boarded him here as well and never had an issue. From what I recall, the prices were better than all other local options.
While my dog might not entirely enjoy the waiting room and the possibility of being dropped off while I leave, I will continue to bring him here so long as I'm within an hour drive. I've had bad experiences in the past with less caring providers and large providers that didn't remember my dog's name. This is not one of those places.

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I and have taken our cats to Dr. Rowan since he opened, and we love the care they get there. His guidance, and that of his associate Dr. Urioste, has always been clear, practical, and to the point. His support staff is equally good, and they treat our pets with respect and affection. They've helped us through some difficult end-of-life decisions, and we feel we've always received the best advice. We love Paoli Vetcare!

Provided by YP.comDr. Rowan and his staff create the most amazing environment for our dogs and for us. The office is friendly, professional and fun! We have two labs and they aren't scared to go to the vet like they used to be … they actually love going to visit! Dr. Rowan is the best vet we have ever had … his compassion and sincerity is so appreciated. A few years ago, we had to make the agonizing decision to put our 15 year old yellow lab down … Dr. Rowan reassured us that we had done what was best for her and they gave us all the time we needed to stay with her prior to and after she was put to sleep. The staff at Paoli Vet Care are more than just animal lovers … they are honest, ethical people who love what they do and want to be sure your pets receive the best possible care!

Provided by YP.comThe absolute best! I have been to many different vets over the course of decades in various states, with various breeds and species. Dr. Rowan and Dr. Dawn are the best! It goes without saying that they are both extremely knowledgeable, well educated, and tops in their profession, but what you won't know until you go there is how caring and concerned they are for your pet's well being. Honest and true empathy and conscientious concern is abundant in this practice. I hope you don't ever need it, but if your beloved pet is seriously ill and struggling for their life, you will want the best, so why would you go anywhere else?

Provided by YP.comI've had our Maltese Belle for almost 10 years now and it's only recently since August that we switched to Paoli Vetcare due to proximity to our home and a desire to have more compassionate care. Recently Belle developed a fever and difficulty swallowing and became lethargic suddenly. We needed to take her in quickly and have some resolutions as she was clearly uncomfortable. Dr. Dawn was so wonderful and caring...truly loving towards Belle. She is the real deal. We needed to come back as symptoms worsened but she was assuring and they kept Belle there all day as they were booked so they could keep an eye on her. They knew I was worried to have her home. Her breathing was compromised which is very scary not knowing what to do. Belle was medicated and treated so well and the staff were so supportive. Dr. Dawn even followed up twice by phone to check on her. I did not know Vets did that. I'm such a grateful and 'raging" fan! Best second home ever for our dogs!

Provided by YP.comPaoli Vetcare has been our family vet for our cats and dogs for over ten years. We switched from another Mainline vet years back and the experience was totally different. Dr. Rowan has been our primary vet, but we also see Dr. Dawn when he's unavailable. They are both attentive, caring, and thorough. We have been through multiple oral surgeries for our 15 year old dog, plus mobility and pain issues in these last years. Dr. Dawn helped us figure out what meds would help make him more comfortable and called to check in on how he was doing when we switched. When we put our sick kitty to sleep several years ago, it was heatbreaking - but with Dr. Rowan's advice and support, we knew it was the right thing to do to keep him from suffering needlessly. In our years with this practice, the doctors have always laid out options without judgement and answered our questions patiently. We value their expertise and obvious care for their patients and families. Although this is not the vet closest to our home, we continue to travel the extra miles because they love our pets as we do. Highly recommend!

Provided by YP.comI've been going to Paoli Vetcare since I moved to the area, about 3 years ago. Really enjoy the service we receive at this vet. Dr. Rowen is incredibly kind to both of our pets, a cat and a dog. Neither animal is particularly fond of going to the vet, but all of the staff members take great care in treating each of them with respect. I also appreciate that the services are reasonably priced. We recently moved again, and now we're a longer distance from the vet. However, I like their services so much that I'm willing to make the longer commute and keep both animals with Dr. Rowen. I recommend Paoli Vetcare for vet services, hands down!

Provided by YP.comPaoli Vetcare is the best! From the very beginning they have made me and my Benji feel like family. Benji had a few medical issues when he was a year old and Dr. Rowan took great care of him. From the front desk on you will feel like a part of their family. I highly recommend this practice for all your pet needs.

Provided by YP.comMy dog, a Shih Tzu mix, has not been the easiest when it comes to vet appointments. He needs to be sedated for grooming purposes, as he can get a bit aggressive when it comes to grooming. The last time he went in for grooming there was a complication. Dr. Dawn was able to save my little guy, gave me a call to inform me of what happened, and continued to monitor him for the rest of the afternoon. The next day she called to check in and let me know she would be there until six and to call me if I needed anything. As an anxious person, who treats their dog like a child, this helped put my mind at ease. Despite moving away from the Paoli area, I still make the drive because I trust them.

Provided by YP.comWe've been going to Paoli Vetcare for 10 years now and have had nothing but the BEST of care for our dog! Our dog, Bella, has always been treated like family there!! We recently added a new puppy to our family and Dr. Jay (Rowan) has treated her, too, like one of his own!! The staff is always, pleasant, efficient and helpful. Dr. Jay is simply the Best!! He takes time to check our dogs, explain everything and still have a few minutes to catch up with us on a personal level. We will never go anywhere else and highly recommend that you use Paoli VetCare for you PETS HEALTH!!

Provided by YP.comWe just started going to Paoli Vetcare for our new puppy. We are first time dog owners, and Dr. Dawn has been great. She's easy to talk to and has been very helpful and informative. We're very happy with our puppy's care, so far!

Provided by YP.comWe've been going to Paoli Vetcare for about 17 years now and we have both cats and a dog... so we've basically seen it all and been through it all with Dr Rowen and the Paoli team. I really cannot speak highly enough about our experiences. They've always gone above and beyond to help us and our pets. They were very compassionate when we had to have a cat put to sleep because she was too sick to recover and they have called us on numerous occasions to follow up on various things we've had the animals in for, just to make sure that they were doing OK, tolerating medication, etc.. I recommend them very highly.

Provided by YP.comI have no clue what the negative reviewers on here mean. I highly recommend Paoli Vet Care. They absolutely do not order extra tests, in fact, they are very laid back as far as demanding vaccines, tests etc. They have very reasonable prices and they really love animals. I take my cat there, who is not declawed, and they patiently deal with her in a loving and professional manner even when she is hissing and scratching. Additionally, they took care of my family dog, a corgi, for many many years..I think 14 years? He received major back surgery there and recovered so well he was able to walk again, which was very unlikely. He lived to 17, healthy and happy. I would not trust any other vet with my little kitty, and they also have the ONLY groomers that I would ever trust as well. Professional, patient, knowlegeable, amd accomodating. (Even once when my cat peed on herself in the car in the way there..did not phase them. They even offered to clean her carrier!) Love this place!!
