I went in for a simple job, and they refused to do what I asked. Why? Because it wouldn't fix the problem. Go to any other place, and they'll take your money and not fix your problem. I know this, because I went to Sears before going here. Sears took 90 bucks from me, and didn't fix my issue. It took Sears 3 hours of waiting and 90 bucks to not fix me. So, based on the recommendation of a friend, I decided to check out Torres for more than just getting my brake tags. When I first visited I briefly explained my issue and within a minute, a technician was in my car troubleshooting. No papers to sign, bills to pay upfront, or anything. I could tell that I was in the right place because their concern and priority was getting my problem resolved, not making money. After telling me that I had a bad tire, they ordered it, with instructions to return the following day. In and out, day 1, 10 minutes. The next day I returned for my tire replacement. The technician was ready and waiting for me to arrive, and, the job was done in 15 minutes. 15 MINUTES! I was absolutely blown away by the speed. Now, I'm sure once their business picks up (which I hope it will), it may not be as quick. But, I have nothing but good things to say about Torres. Don't be discouraged by the appearance of the building. It's almost 70 years old, and looks it. But, the speed, professionalism, and expertise of the employees inside make it very easy to look past appearances. I'm going to post this review on other sites, because you should certainly be supporting local companies over the big box stores in our parish. Especially when the local guys are about the same price, and better!
