Provided by YP.comMy dad took his HP laptop to gray mater because it had viruses. ( My dad like many people his age in paradise is not computer savvy) they removed the viruses and didn't explain how he got them or how to avoid them. So the problem reoccurred. Then, he got a message saying he had an illegal copy of Windows. So he brought it back. They said it would costs 175. They took longer than they said to "fix" it. Then when my Dad went to pick it up they wanted 250+ , and stated that it wasn't and couldn't be fixed. So when I came to visit, he asked me about it. Using commen sense, I powers up the computer and looked at the errors that occurred on startup. I then looked up the codes on Google, and found that it was caused by a bad update sent by Microsoft. (I would think that the computer gurus from grey matter, would know about such problems) so I backed up his files and reset the computer to factory defaults. Provided by YP.comWe have used Gray Matter Computing in both our locations for years. I had a new employee, and they brought some software in from home. Well, something happened. And the computers at one location stopped working with our program. We could not print a memorial folder for a service that was going to happen the next morning! It was an emergency.
I called Brian and he sent over one of his "Guru's" in about 45 minutes. The problem was found, and the computers were all working again. It was a beuatiful experience!
Thanks to Brian and his staff, my customers never knew there was a problem.

Provided by YP.comI have had computers for years. It is always great when they work right, and when they work when you need them the most. It is also great to know a company that takes care of business the old fashioned way. I called Gray Matter Computing and a live person answered the phone. No waiting on hold. No "your call is very important to us" voicemail. They actually pick up the phone and talk to you! They spoke English and did not talk over my head. They actually had me try a couple of things to fix my problem on the phone. No credit card needed, no inquisition to where I bought the computer. Just a nice man that wanted to help me. I took my computer in. And it was repaired the next day for the price I was quoted on the estimate. I took the computer home. It really was fixed, and a lot faster than it used to be too. I would recommend this company to all my friends with computers!
