Southwoods is a children s camp that operates for approximately nine weeks each summer near Paradox, N.Y. The camp is located on Paradox Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. The camp has a seasonal staff of more than 150 counselors, which coach baseball and teach camp songs and sailing to campers, among other tasks. Southwoods offers its campers a myriad of activities including land and water sports, creative and performing arts, outdoor activities and community living. Southwoods campers range in age from seven to 15 years.
